ANNIE SHAIN | ASSISTANT COACH

The 2021-22 season will be the fourth with the North Park women's basketball program for assistant head coach Annie Shain. In the 2017-18 season, Shain served as the Vikings' graduate assistant coach before being promoted to a full-time assistant position.

As a player, Shain was a four-year letter winner and a two-year captain on the North Park women's basketball team.  She ranks 5th all-time in three-point field goal percentage and three-pointers made.  Coach Shain was also nominated for the Female Sportsman of Year honor in her senior year.

Following her graduation from North Park, Coach Shain was the assistant coach at Benedictine University.

Coach Shain played her high school basketball at Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Suburban Wheaton.  Shain was a four-year letter winner and was captain of the 2011 DVC Championship team.  She was Honorable Mention All-DVC and an all-area selection as a junior and as a senior.
